Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an engineer to join the S3 team focused on government storage solutions for the U.S. Intelligence Community. You will tackle innovative cloud problems, automate operations, and help maintain highly available services.

The role requires working on-site in the Seattle area with a focus on operational excellence, Linux and networking knowledge, and collaboration across teams to deliver secure, scalable storage solutions for government agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
• Experience automating routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate new ways to improve operations and define solutions for complex cloud issues.
• Proactively maintain service health by analyzing metrics and logs.
• Deep dive into AWS S3 architecture to understand configuration and dependencies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support government customers.
