Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an engineer to support S3 government cloud storage, based in Seattle, WA. You will work on automated tooling and operational excellence to keep services reliable for U.S. Intelligence Community customers.

You should have strong Linux, networking and cloud service knowledge, plus the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to on‑call rotations.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and the willingness to obtain commensurate clearances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Experience automating routine tasks.
• Ability to work on government cloud projects.

Responsibilities

• Define milestones by breaking down projects and tracking progress.
• Identify and resolve availability issues and system defects.
• Analyze metrics and logs to maintain service health.
• Support on-call rotations and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
