Job summary

Belltower Funds, a division of AngelList, is seeking a Subscriptions & Closings (S&C) Manager in New York to lead the S&C team and ensure fast, accurate fund launches and closings with a white-glove client experience for GPs and institutional clients.

You will own end‑to‑end fund and SPV setup, subscriptions, proration, and closing confirmations, while collaborating with Product and Engineering to ship improvements and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in fund administration, fund operations, or investor services in private markets.
• Direct experience closing traditional closed-end/drawdown funds, including capital calls and side letters.
• Experience operating in a controls-conscious environment (audit/compliance/KYC/AML).
• Strong customer service experience with GPs, LPs or institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&C team: set priorities, plan workload, coach and develop team members, maintain SLAs.
• Own end-to-end fund and SPV setup, subscription review, proration, and closing confirmation.
• Serve as the main contact for GPs and institutional clients, translating needs into product requirements.
• Own S&C playbooks for institutional fund closings and capital calls, side letters, and multi-close mechanics.
• Identify and ship product/process improvements with Product and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance checkpoints (KYC/AML, sanctions) and robust documentation.
