Job summary

AngelList's Belltower Fund Group is seeking a Subscriptions & Closings (S&C) Manager to lead the team responsible for fund launches, SPV setups, subscriptions, and closings. You will work with GPs and institutional clients, coordinating with Product and Engineering to ship process improvements and ensure compliance through robust controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in fund administration, with hands‑on experience in investor subscriptions, capital closings, and fund or SPV setup.
• Direct experience closing traditional closed‑end/drawdown funds, including capital calls, side letters, and multi‑close mechanics.
• Experience operating in a controls‑conscious environment (audit, compliance, AML/KYC, or a regulated financial services setting).
• Strong customer service experience serving GPs, LPs, or institutional clients in private markets or fund administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&C team: set priorities, run coverage and workload planning, coach and develop team members, and hold the team to clear SLAs.
• Own end‑to‑end quality of fund and SPV setup, subscription review, proration, and closing confirmation, and act as final escalation for issues or compliance risks.
• Serve as the direct S&C point of contact for GPs and institutional customers, delivering a white‑glove experience and translating needs into product requirements.
• Own S&C playbooks for institutional fund closings (drawdown/capital‑call administration, side‑letter tracking, complex allocations).
• Build and own playbooks for institutional fund closings as a separate workstream from syndicate/SPV closings.
• Identify, specify, and ship product and process improvements with Product and Eng teams; document changes and releases.
• Assist in shaping the GP Services product roadmap by surfacing client pain points and quantifying tooling gaps.
