Job summary

Ryan Air, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Training to ensure employees are trained in line with company policy and procedures. The role covers station and support personnel, maintaining service standards, and overseeing mail and freight handling processes.

Responsibilities include designing training, conducting sessions, preparing materials, mentoring new staff, and evaluating training effectiveness. Travel to various stations and collaboration with Safety are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Three Years Of Aviation Experience Preferred.
• Previous training experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.
• Must be able to routinely lift 70 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees are trained per Company policy and procedures.
• Train required Station and support personnel per policies.
• Maintain Ryan Air customer service and cargo service standards.
• Ensure proper processes to accept, store and handle mail and freight.
• Coordinate staging, loading and unloading of aircraft.
• Input mail and freight data into TakeFlite.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and schedule sessions.
• Design effective training courses and conduct sessions.
• Prepare educational materials (modules, videos).
• Mentor and support new employees.
• Conduct evaluations to identify improvement areas.
• Provide station coverage when needed.
• Notify Director of Stations of discrepancies or needs.
• Collaborate with Safety on training per safety reporting.
• Report travel trends to Safety and Stations as part of improvement.
• Assist stations with compliance to state and federal requirements.
• Travel to Ryan Air stations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Manager of Training will ensure that employees are trained in accordance with the policy and procedures of the Company.

Responsible for training required Station and support personnel in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsible for maintaining Ryan Air customer service and cargo service standards.

Ensures that the proper processes are utilized to accept, store and handle mail and freight.

Ensures that the proper processes are utilized to stage, load and unload aircraft.

Ensures that all mail and freight received is accurately processed, including input into TakeFlite.

Liaise with management to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.

Design effective training courses.

Conduct training sessions, workshops, individual training sessions, etc.

Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos, etc.

Support and mentor new employees.

Conduct training evaluations to identify areas of improvement.

Provides coverage at Ryan Air Stations when needed.

Notifies the Director of Stations of any operational discrepancies or needs.

Collaborate with the Director of Safety to implement training based on safety reporting.

Report post-travel trends and feedback to Safety and Stations as part of a continuous improvement process.

Assist stations with compliance to state and federal requirements.

Travel to Ryan Air stations and other locations as required.

Other duties as assigned.
