THE TEAM

As a Barback, you will be part of the Bar team within Food & Beverage, reporting to the F&B Manager. You will work closely with bartenders and cocktail servers, providing essential support throughout service and helping maintain the main bar and service areas.

YOUR ROLE

Your role is to support cocktail servers and bartenders across all aspects of food and beverage service. From keeping the bar fully stocked and maintaining clean service areas to assisting with food service and clearing tables, you will help the team deliver attentive and efficient service to our guests.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Keep the main bar stocked before, during and after each shift with beverages, glassware, linen, paper goods, consumables, condiments and other required supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar and service areas through regular upkeep and nightly cleaning duties.
• Support cocktail servers throughout food service, including setting silverware, serving food and cleaning tables.
• Bus tables throughout service, promptly removing glassware and debris.
• Change tablecloths and candles as needed during service.
• Consistently maintain RMOTC standards and attend scheduled meetings.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have experience in a fine dining or casually elegant upscale establishment, which is preferred.
• You bring attention to detail, speed and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize, organize and follow through.
• You remain calm, use good judgment, follow directions thoroughly and understand guests’ service needs.
• You work collaboratively with colleagues while also being comfortable working with minimal supervision and maintaining confidentiality.
• You communicate clearly with bartenders, servers and guests and can read and understand instructions and safety rules in English.
• You can meet the physical requirements of the role, including frequent movement throughout the work area and lifting and carrying 30-50 lbs., including overhead lifting as described for the position.
