Newark Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We value credentialed technicians for clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills to elevate patient care and client experience.

In this role you will contribute to both outpatient and procedural workflows with a focus on high-quality care throughout patient visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing RVT in Ohio.
• Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique.
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Accurate medical record documentation.
• Strong client communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures and radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Explain treatment plans and discharge instructions clearly to clients.
• Support case management across the hospital.
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service.
