Job summary

National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) is seeking an experienced RV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade recreational vehicles in a modern service facility. You will work closely with the Service Department to obtain work authorizations and complete warranty repairs per manufacturer requirements.

The role demands strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of RV systems, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional RV/automotive service experience.
• Strong knowledge of RV construction, systems, components, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent communication, detail-orientation, and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RVs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Install, repair, and upgrade RV accessories and equipment.
• Document parts, labor, and materials used for each repair.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct customer walk-throughs and demonstrate operation of RV systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

As an NIRVC Service Technician, you'll work in a state-of-the-art service facility while diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading some of today's most advanced recreational vehicles.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RVs.
• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of RV systems, including:
• Electrical systems
• Appliances
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• HVAC and other RV components
• Install, repair, and upgrade RV accessories, components, and equipment.
• Work closely with the Service Department to obtain required work authorizations and factory approvals.
• Complete warranty repairs accurately and in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
• Document materials, parts, equipment, and labor used for each repair.
• Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections (PDI).
• Conduct customer walk-throughs and demonstrate the proper operation of RV systems and features.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional RV/Automotive Service Technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RV construction, systems, components, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of RV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong integrity, dependability, responsiveness, and work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
• ASE and/or RVIA certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with no suspension within the previous 3 years required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Physical & Working Requirements

This position is primarily performed in a professional RV service shop environment.

The role may require:

• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Lifting and moving heavy equipment, parts, and objects.
• Working in tight or confined spaces.
• Working at various heights.
• Occasional exposure to loud noises, fumes, and chemicals.
• Following required safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
