Job summary

PPL Motorhomes is hiring an RV Sales Representative to join our full-time team in Decatur, TX. You’ll greet customers, explain RV options, demonstrate trailers and motorhomes, and guide buyers through the purchasing process, with a goal of creating outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail, automotive, RV, marine, powersports, big-ticket sales, or customer service preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Solid work history, verifiable references, and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, online, and on the sales lot.
• Help buyers understand RV options, features, pricing, and value.
• Demonstrate travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and other RVs.
• Conduct test drives and explain the buying and selling process.
• Work with customers who want to sell or consign their RV.
• Follow up with leads, document customer communication, and build strong relationships.
• Inspect RVs to make sure they are clean, presentable, and ready to show.
• Negotiate professionally, help close sales, and deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous sales, retail, automotive, RV, marine, powersports, big-ticket sales, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
• Confidence asking questions, following up, and matching customer needs to solutions
• Ability to learn RV product knowledge quickly
• Comfort using computers, databases, CRM systems, and sales tools
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Solid work history, verifiable references, and ability to pass a background check

Schedule:

This is a full-time retail sales position. Candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, and Saturday, 8:45 AM-4:00 PM. Saturdays are required, with a weekday off every other week to help offset Saturday hours. With the rolling schedule, employees generally have a Saturday off at least once every 3 to 4 weeks. Evening availability may be needed as business requires.
