Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair RV systems, generators and coach components, with a focus on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical maintenance.

You'll document diagnostics, perform repairs, track parts, and ensure work meets quality standards. The role demands attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but experience may count.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
