Eagle Technology Competence, LLC. is seeking an experienced Rust Software Engineer to develop safe, real-time embedded software for automotive safety-critical systems in Mountain View.

The role combines deep Rust expertise with RTOS concepts to build secure, deterministic platforms for MCU/MPU and multi-core devices. The Technical Lead will drive architecture, integrate with C/C++, AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX, and RTOS platforms, and ensure robust software and safety compliance through design reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years embedded software development experience
• 3+ years leading architecture teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop safety-critical embedded software using Rust.
• Develop low-level platform software, middleware, drivers, and system services.
• Build high-performance real-time applications with deterministic behavior.
• Define software architecture and interface specifications.
• Optimize memory footprint, startup time, and CPU utilization.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Integrate Rust components with C/C++, AUTOSAR, Linux, QNX, RTOS platforms.
• Develop unit, integration, and system tests.
• Support CI/CD and automated quality gates.
