Akicita Federal is seeking Ultrasound Technologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. You will be a frontline clinical contributor supporting a rural Native American community with patient care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrical settings, in a mission-driven environment.

This role requires RDMS registration, diverse ultrasound skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote rural hospital.

Qualifications

• Current, active RDMS registration with ARDMS or equivalent.
• Hands-on ultrasound experience across general, OB/GYN, emergency, and vascular.
• Ability to work independently in a remote rural hospital setting.
• Compliance with clinical, patient safety, and accreditation requirements.
• Ability to meet full-time scheduling demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations across general, OB/GYN, vascular and emergency imaging.
• Support radiology operations for timely, diagnostically accurate imaging.
• Provide obstetrical ultrasound services including fetal assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians to prioritize urgent imaging requests.
• Document findings accurately and timely per standards.
• Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to safety and accreditation standards.
• Contribute to continuity of care in a rural hospital setting.
