Job summary

Sanford Health, Mayville Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on image quality and patient safety. You will operate radiography equipment, position patients accurately, and adhere to radiation protection guidelines in a busy rural health setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, ND licensure, and compliance with imaging regulations. Training is provided where needed, with on-call rotation and weekend coverage as part of a full-time

Qualifications

• Completion of an educational program approved by the ARRT is required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles and radiation protection.
• ARRT registration is required.
• ND licensure with the NDMB or ND MIRT board is required if applicable.
• SD ARRT certification within 60 days of hire; IA permit may be required in some locations.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging examinations with quality results.
• Operates radiographic equipment according to patient cases and guidelines.
• Ensures correct patient positioning and image quality for clinical purposes.
• Implements radiation safety guidelines and protection practices.
• Delivers patient care and education before, during, and after procedures.
• Navigates the EMR system and may take on additional duties.
