Job summary

Northern Cochise Community Hospital Inc. seeks a credentialed Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on patient safety and quality exam performance.

You will work under supervision within a rural hospital setting, contributing to timely studies and accurate reporting. The role requires ARDMS physics/abdomen and ARRT ultrasound credentials, with preferred vascular, ECHO, OB/GYN, and breast imaging certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Sonography or Radiography required.
• 1 year ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current ARDMS certification in physics and abdomen; ARRT ultrasound certification required.
• ARDMS/ARRT certifications in vascular, ECHO, OB/GYN, breast imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain patient safety and proper exam protocols.
• Assist radiologist with patient history and exam preparation.
• Complete exams and related paperwork and billing documentation.
• Ensure clean, organized, and stocked exam rooms.
