Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. The role offers rural, patient-centered care with opportunities for on-call coverage and collaboration with radiologists and providers.

Qualified candidates are ARDMS registered or pursuing certification, with graduates from an accredited sonography or radiology program and strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging and equipment operation. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or radiology program with ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS registered or eligible (working toward certification if not registered)
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging principles and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation.
• Work under the direction of physicians and supervising technologists.
• Collaborate with radiologists and providers to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
• Maintain imaging records and ensure timely reporting to ordering providers.
• Follow ALARA principles and imaging safety standards.
• Participate in on-call coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and department organization.
