Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Pulmonologist for a permanent, full-time role in La Grande, OR. Four 10-hour days, day shift, rural Critical Access Hospital with onsite Echo, EKG and stress testing. Relocation assistance provided and strong autonomy in a supportive team.

Compensation ranges from $550k to $600k+ per year, with incentives, sign-on, CME support and full benefits including a 401k match. Join a growing pulmonary team and contribute to community respiratory care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited school.
• Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and long-term management for COPD, asthma, ILD, pulmonary hypertension and nodules.
• Conduct inpatient pulmonary consultations across medical units.
• Perform and interpret bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Oversee non-invasive ventilation and long-term oxygen therapy with Respiratory Care team.
• Manage sleep-disordered breathing and review sleep studies as applicable.
• Collaborate with PCPs, radiologists, oncologists, thoracic surgeons and critical care.
• Utilize EPIC EHR for documentation, orders and communication.
• Engage in quality improvement, peer review and patient education in a rural setting.
