Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in La Grande, Oregon is seeking a Pulmonologist to join a rural Critical Access Hospital. This permanent, full-time role offers autonomy and a supportive team, with onsite echo, EKG, and stress testing.

Relocation assistance provided; compensation $550K-$600K+ per year, with a base salary plus incentives, commencement bonus, CME support, student loan assistance, and full benefits.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited school.
  • Completion of an accredited Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship.
  • Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care in a community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and long-term clinical management for adult pulmonary conditions.
  • Conduct inpatient pulmonary consultations for hospitalized patients.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Oversee non-invasive ventilation, home oxygen, and pulmonary therapies with Respiratory Care team.
  • Manage sleep-disordered breathing and review sleep studies as applicable.
  • Collaborate with primary care, radiology, oncology, thoracic surgery and critical care teams.
