Job summary

Key People is seeking an innovative and energetic Psychiatrist to join our rural Eastern Oregon team in La Grande. You will contribute to growing behavioral health and primary care services within a Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center.

Relocation assistance provided. The role offers permanent, full-time work with four 10-hour days and a day shift, along with competitive compensation up to $385k+ per year and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, community-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for a rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor progress for safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with Primary Care and Behavioral Health teams for comprehensive care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for mood, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
• Provide clinical guidance and contribute to protocol development within the team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely charting and documentation.
• Consult within the Level IV Trauma Center for acute stabilization when needed.
• Engage in community initiatives to reduce stigma and expand access to care.
