Job summary

Banner Health Torrington Community Hospital is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist for day shifts in a rural, 25-bed critical access setting. You will evaluate and treat outpatient and inpatient populations, supervise therapy staff when appropriate, and coordinate with families and providers.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Must possess a current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s functional abilities and limitations; establishes a plan of care.
• Implements individualized treatment plan and provides skilled therapy.
• Documents treatment and progress per regulatory guidelines; ensures timely documentation.
• Communicates results and progress to physicians, nurses, patient, family, and care team.
• Supervises PTA, ATC, Therapy Technician and students as appropriate.
• Attends required department meetings and contributes to process improvements.
