Job summary

Banner Health Torrington Community Hospital in Wyoming is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat outpatient and inpatient populations in a rural setting. Day shift, with rotating weekend coverage and opportunities for professional growth.

You will document progress, coordinate with physicians and care teams, and supervise COTA/therapy technicians as needed in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an OT educational program approved by the governing board.
• Must hold an OT license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient functional abilities and plans care.
• Implements individualized OT treatment for inpatients and outpatients.
• Documents progress per department and regulatory standards.
• Communicates results to physicians, nurses, patients and families.
• Supervises COTA, therapy technicians and coordinates with the care team.
