Banner Health is seeking a Full-time Occupational Therapist for Torrington Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyoming. The role covers evaluations and treatments for outpatient and inpatient populations in a rural setting, with a Day Shift (Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00) and a rotating weekend schedule (1, 4-hour Sunday shift every 6-7 weeks).

The department emphasizes 1:1 care, collaboration with physicians, nurses and families, supervision of therapy staff, and integration of digital records.

Formación

• Must have completed an OT program approved by the governing board.
• Current OT license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient with computer software in automated patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patient's functional abilities and sets plan of care and treatment goals.
• Implements treatment plan tailored to patient age and needs; monitors progress.
• Documents according to department standards with timely records.
• Communicates results and progress to physicians, nurses, patient and family, and team.
• Maintains flexibility with caseload, scheduling, and staffing.
• Delegates tasks to COTA and therapy staff; participates in training and orientation.
• Participates in department operations and meets productivity standards.
• Interacts with staff, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts to coordinate care.
