Job summary

MercyOne Centerville is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Care Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a rural Centerville setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program, current Iowa RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments.
• Supervise and support nursing staff.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
