Job summary

Liberty Science Center, Inc. in Jersey City is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Rural Health Transformation to coordinate projects across rural New Jersey, manage stakeholder engagement with health systems, community organizations, and government partners, and help drive innovative healthcare programs from planning through deployment.

This grant-funded, full-time role requires travel across New Jersey, a hybrid work schedule with on-site days in Jersey City, and a collaborative, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• A valid driver's license is required; reliable vehicle for travel to partner sites.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare, project coordination, nonprofit management, consulting, public health, research, startups, or related field.
• Experience supporting grant-funded programs, government initiatives, healthcare implementation, or multi-organizational collaborations preferred.
• Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including innovation trends, regulatory frameworks and payment models.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Rural Health Transformation initiatives to keep on schedule and inform stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, meeting agendas, and action trackers.
• Coordinate meetings, follow-up items, and communications among health systems, technology partners, and community organizations.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports.
• Identify project risks and escalate issues to program leadership.
• Support vendor onboarding, procurement documentation, contract routing and logistics.
• Prepare materials and communications for meetings with government partners and clinical leaders.
• Coordinate travel, site visits, training logistics, and implementation schedules.
• Prepare presentations, executive briefings, and program reports; track milestones and grant reporting.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and assist with implementation readiness assessments.
• Collect and organize qualitative and quantitative implementation data; document lessons learned.
