Job summary

Liberty Science Center's SciTech Scity is seeking a Rural Health Program Manager to lead rural health transformation initiatives across New Jersey, coordinating with health systems, community organizations, technology vendors, government agencies, and clinical partners.

The role covers planning, deployment, evaluation, and statewide scale, requires travel throughout New Jersey, and operates within a grant-funded, four-year window.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years in healthcare, project coordination, nonprofit management, consulting, public health, or related field.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rural Health Transformation projects from planning through deployment and scale.
• Develop execution plans, timelines, budgets and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate across health systems, community providers and government agencies.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards and executive reporting.
• Oversee vendor relationships including contracts, procurement and performance.
• Provide day-to-day direction to coordinators to meet objectives.
• Facilitate provider discovery, workflow assessments and stakeholder interviews.
• Design deployment strategies and coordinate training and change management.
• Support implementation in resource-constrained environments with proactive coordination.
• Build trusted relationships with rural providers and local leaders.
• Coordinate readiness assessments and due diligence for digital health solutions.
• Monitor progress with healthcare metrics and adoption indicators.
• Document lessons learned and translate into best practices.
• Engage with NJ DHS and state partners to align with grant objectives.
• Develop replication playbooks and resource guides for expansion.
• Prepare executive briefings, reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Track milestones, budgets and reporting requirements.
• Support grant reporting and program communications.
