Job summary

Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Rural Health Assistant Director to lead day-to-day management of SciTech Scity’s Rural Health Transformation initiative. You will supervise two Rural Health Program Managers and a Senior Coordinator, coordinating with health systems, providers, and state partners to advance strategy and execution.

You will report to the Senior Director and travel across New Jersey, with grant-funded funding for a four-year period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in healthcare, public health, or related program management.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Strong executive communication and staff supervision skills.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare landscape and health systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of Rural Health Transformation portfolio.
• Supervise Rural Health Program Managers and Senior Coordinator.
• Coordinate with health systems, providers, and state partners.
• Drive program objectives, timelines, budgets, and governance.
• Support planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement.
