Job summary

Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth (VFHY) seeks a Statewide Rural Health Transformation Manager to lead a new grant initiative across rural Virginia. You will oversee RFAs, manage the full grant lifecycle, and supervise two grant administrators while coordinating with program, fiscal, and leadership staff.

This full-time role supports the Consumer‑Facing Technology initiative, with a hybrid telework option and regular onsite presence in Richmond.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal, state, or private grants including compliance, monitoring, reporting, budgets, and performance requirements.
• Ability to work onsite in downtown Richmond, VA with hybrid telework thereafter.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel throughout Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee statewide grant management for the Consumer‑Facing Technology initiative.
• Lead development and management of RFAs.
• Manage full grant lifecycle: application, review, award, contracting, monitoring, reporting, closeout.
• Monitor grantee performance, budgets, deliverables, milestones; provide guidance.
• Develop systems, procedures, and documentation for a large statewide grant portfolio.
• Coordinate compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements.
• Supervise two grant administrators and establish performance standards.
• Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to support implementation.
