Eastern Oregon University in Oregon’s rural region seeks a Rural Health Pathways Coordinator to support pre-college students pursuing healthcare tracks. Based in the Ontario, OR region, you’ll partner with regional districts to build pipelines, lead school visits, dual-credit workflows, and health career events to foster enrollment in EOU’s healthcare programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Sciences, Communications, Public Health, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years in student recruitment, admissions, academic advising, or health program coordination.
• Minimum of two years in event planning, public speaking, program outreach development, and curriculum mapping.
• Must pass EOU background check and be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom presentations and recruitment across rural K-12 districts.
• Plan and execute health career preview days with hands-on lab experiences.
• Streamline dual-credit registration and track core health coursework progress.
• Assist schools with mapping health curricula to EOU degree requirements and coordinate related summer academies.
• Collaborate with Admissions, advisors, and AHECs to optimize student transition pipelines.
