Eastern Oregon University seeks an Academic Advisor/Healthcare Programs Coordinator to support Science, Technology, Mathematics and Health Sciences students both on campus and online. The role focuses on advising pre-professional pathways and coordinating healthcare initiatives.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management, you will develop advising resources, maintain records, build partnerships, and assist with recruitment and program assessment to enhance student success and

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Two years working with students in higher education or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities are required.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive academic advising for an assigned caseload of on-campus and online students.
• Guide students regarding degree requirements, academic policies, opportunities, career planning, and campus resources.
• Monitor progress toward degree and implement interventions to improve outcomes.
• Coordinate with faculty advising mentors, departments, and student support services.
• Develop and implement advising procedures, conduct workshops, orientation, and outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate advising records using university information systems and prepare reports.
• Coordinate advising for pre-professional healthcare programs and liaise with graduate health professional programs.
• Develop community partnerships for volunteer and job shadowing opportunities; support recruitment and program assessment.
