Job summary

YKHC is recruiting for a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to deliver primary health care in village clinics, including emergency services as needed. You may relocate to a village and must be ready to travel to Bethel or training sites for essential sessions.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, preventative services, and itinerant coverage across YKHC villages. Strong English skills and ability to engage with communities are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must attend Health Aide Sessions I-IV to become CHP; must be certified ETT or EMT.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care in village clinics (acute, chronic, preventive).
• Travel to Bethel and training sites for required trainings.
• Provide year‑round coverage including summers.
• Float to other YKHC villages as assigned.
