This rural Eastern Oregon community offers a four 10-hour day schedule (day shift) and relocation assistance, with a total compensation package reaching $670k+ per year. The physician will provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care at a Critical Access Hospital, performing non-invasive studies, managing long-term conditions, and collaborating with PCPs and hospital teams to

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school and board eligibility/c certification in cardiology.
• Completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship and current license.
• Strong commitment to high-quality care in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system
