The Recruiting Hive is assisting a rural Eastern Oregon Critical Access Hospital in La Grande with a Cardiologist opening. This permanent, full-time opportunity features four 10-hour days, day shift, and relocation assistance.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, perform echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, and manage implantable devices, collaborating with primary care and hospitalists to improve community cardiac health.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Commitment to high-quality care in a community-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.

Cardiology Fellowship

State Medical License

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
