Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Cardiologist for a permanent, full-time role in La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon). The schedule features four 10-hour days with day shifts and relocation assistance is provided.

Compensation ranges from $600K to $670K+ per year, plus incentives and benefits. The ideal candidate holds an MD with a Cardiology fellowship, is board certified or eligible, and possesses an active unrestricted State Medical License.

Qualifications

• MD with board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
• Completion of accredited cardiology fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive tests including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervise stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
