Job summary

Management Performance Associates in La Grande, OR seeks a Cardiologist for a permanent, full-time position on a four 10-hour days schedule. You’ll join a Rural Eastern Oregon Critical Access Hospital team delivering outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care with on-site Echo, EKG, and stress testing.

Relocation assistance is provided; compensation ranges from $600,000 to $670,000+ per year, with quality incentives, RVU bonuses, CME support, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited school.
• Cardiology Fellowship completed.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, community-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.
