Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Cardiologist for a permanent, full-time role in La Grande, Oregon, a rural Eastern Oregon community. This position offers four 10-hour days and a day shift, with relocation assistance provided.

You will join a hospital-employed practice at a Critical Access Hospital, performing outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school.
• Completion of Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.
