Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in La Grande, OR seeks a Cardiologist for a permanent, full-time role. Work four 10-hour days on the day shift in a rural Eastern Oregon Critical Access Hospital with onsite Echo, EKG, and stress testing.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, perform non-invasive studies, and collaborate with PCPs to advance cardiac services while enjoying an exceptional outdoor lifestyle.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervise stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpret cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Manage implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and hospitalists to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.
