Job summary

Fleet Feet is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator in Pleasanton, CA to connect the store with local running and fitness communities. You’ll expand brand awareness, drive engagement, and support store growth through grassroots events and partnerships.

You’ll work with store leadership and the regional marketing team, carrying out community-driven initiatives and hands-on customer engagement on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Passion for Fleet Feet’s mission and positive community impact.
• Strong verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and in a team.
• Experience in run specialty retail, outreach, or fitness-focused roles is a plus.
• Existing relationships in local running or wellness communities are desirable.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic relationships with local running groups and organizations.
• Plan and execute community events to boost in-store engagement and sales.
• Collaborate with regional marketing to align local outreach with campaigns.
• Coordinate social media, website content and local marketing using brand tools.
• Represent the Fleet Feet brand in all community-facing interactions.
