Cinépolis USA in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a part-time Runner to support theater operations. You will deliver concessions to guests, assist with dining service, upsell items, and help ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, 18+ years, ServSafe/food handling and alcohol certifications, and availability nights, holidays and weekends. Join our hospitality-focused team and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests promptly.
• Work with expediter to ensure orders are delivered in high quality and on time.
• Double check orders for accuracy and communicate issues to kitchen or supervisors.
• Guide guests through the menu, upsell promotions and Cinepolis offerings.
• Maintain clean auditoriums, remove dishes, and report found items to management.
• Assist team with ticket scanning, concessions, or box office as needed.
• Address guest concerns and route to proper resource when necessary.
• Monitor movie projection issues and inform management when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and participate in trainings.

Their focus is to deliver ordered food and drinks to guests, but they have a huge impact on creating excellent service that keeps guests coming back again and again. They ensure orders are delivered correctly and promptly, and that the guests have all that they need to enjoy the film and their meal. Their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality are what sets our dining in experience apart from the rest.JOB DUTIES• Deliver concessions items, kitchen items, and bar items to guests including utensils, sauces, and napkins while embodying Nice and Amazing Service by following all In Seat Dining procedures. • Work closely with expediter to ensure all food is delivered simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. • Demonstrate Commitment, and Integrity at all times – double check that orders are correct and complete and communicate with kitchen/expediter/supervisors if they are not. • Guide guests through the menu and suggest promotions, add-ons, or upselling, demonstrating knowledge of menu and Cinepolis offerings if guests would like to order more items. • Clean auditoriums removing all dishes, trash, and providing managers with any found items. • Be of service to your team members and assist them when needed including scanning tickets for guests, cleaning and restroom checks, and ringing up guests at concessions or box office. • Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist. • Be cognizant of issues with movie projections-communicating with management when issues arise. • Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to other duties. • Acknowledging guest by Cinépolis standards. • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • Must be 18 years or older.
