Job summary

Merck & Co. in the United States seeks a Territory Representative to join our Animal Health field sales team. You will sell Animal Health products in your territory, support pull-through activities, and deliver value through technical innovations aligned to our strategic focus "The Science of Healthier Animals".

Remote-friendly with up to 50% travel. Responsibilities include building relationships with veterinarians and practice decision-makers, developing territory plans, analyzing sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Beef and Dairy industry or animal health sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates about product in a way that's meaningful and relevant to each customer; tailors discussions to customer needs.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; meets with key decision-makers to identify opportunities.
• Develop customer strategy and account plans to drive sales growth of Animal Health products.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Distribution Partners to support accounts.
• Analyze sales results monthly and manage expenses within budget.
• Identify programs and services to address customer needs and provide education and training.
• Develop offerings with leadership to address customer needs.
