Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American ruminant Technical Service team and deliver scientific expertise across probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions. You will advise customers, align with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D, and drive growth.

Travel up to 50% domestically, with flexible, remote-friendly work across North America.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and subject matter experts.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
