Job summary

The engineer will use tools like AutoCAD, Inventor, and ANSYS, participate in design reviews, and ensure manufacturability while meeting strict specifications in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in mechanical engineering or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of CAD software work preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and mechanical design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify mechanical components and assemblies including sheet-metal and machined parts.
• Review drawings to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specs.
• Provide technical assistance for new products and systems.
• Support systems team in evaluating processes to meet customer requirements.
• Write mechanical performance requirements for product development.
