Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to own ruggedized hardware design from concept to production. You will apply first principles physics, lead design reviews, and build prototypes for deployment in harsh environments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on fabrication skills. Ability to travel to test sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical/electromechanical design experience in a professional setting.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and ability to apply GD&T for high-quality drawings.
• Demonstrated hand-on fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own ruggedized hardware design from concept to production under tight timelines.
• Use first principles physics for design decisions and verification.
• Lead design reviews, run analyses, and define hardware test plans for reliability.
• Build prototypes of complex electromechanical systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to transition concepts into production and support demonstrations.
