Job summary

Confident Search Consultants seeks a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF & DSP in Austin, TX. You will own the strategy, roadmap, definition, and lifecycle management of RF, DSP, and FPGA-based embedded solutions.

You will translate engineering concepts into market requirements and guide products from concept through launch. The role combines hands-on engineering with product leadership, collaborating with engineering, sales, and customers to drive NPI launches and long-term portfolio

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (must have).
• 7+ years of RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics experience in defense/embedded markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital signal chain and FPGA processing.
• Experience translating technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Excellent communication with engineering, sales, customers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year product roadmaps based on customer needs and market trends.
• Translate complex system requirements into product requirements and tradeoffs.
• Develop business cases for new products and present to executives.
• Lead concept definition and support NPI from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and form factors for strategic decisions.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Engage with sales and customers to capture market needs and opportunities.
• Provide technical support during customer discussions and create product collateral.
