Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a self-directed Hardware Test Engineer to ensure X-ES products meet specifications through testing and design verification. Responsibilities include creating procedures, testing, data analysis, and defect characterization for rugged embedded systems across industrial, commercial, military, and aerospace projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field; Associate’s degree with 2+ years relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivation with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• On-site work at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway, Verona, WI.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Perform verifications to ensure products meet requirements.
• Analyze and interpret test data.
• Prepare technical reports for production, sales, and customers.
• Initial debugging of failed test items and collaborate to resolve defects.
• Maintain test equipment and software test libraries.
• Regularly communicate testing progress with project teams.
