Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a self-directed Hardware Test Engineer to help ensure X-ES products meet specifications through rigorous product testing and design verification. You will create procedures, run tests, analyze results, and identify defects within rugged embedded systems for industrial, commercial, military, and aerospace applications.

You will develop test plans and procedures, perform verifications, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; associate degree with 2+ years accepted.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work onsite at Verona, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures.
• Perform verifications to ensure products meet requirements.
• Analyze and interpret test data.
• Prepare technical reports for production, sales, and customers.
• Debug failed test items and collaborate to resolve defects.
• Maintain test equipment and software test libraries.
• Communicate testing progress and allocate resources with project teams.
