Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a hands-on Hardware Debug Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover rugged embedded computing hardware. Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a hands-on Hardware Debug Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover rugged embedded computing hardware. This role supports Production by investigating failures on complex single board computers and system assemblies, often requiring troubleshooting down to the component level.
The Hardware Debug Engineer will use electrical test equipment, product schematics, assembly documentation, software tools, and structured troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of hardware failures. This position works closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering to resolve individual failures and identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and product designs.
