EnVogue International, based in New York, is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead rug and floor coverings from concept through production handoff. You will drive development, sourcing, costing, and vendor management in a fast-paced retail-focused environment.

The role requires 5+ years in product development related to home textiles or consumer products, and a strong eye for color, materials, and market trends. Collaboration with design, sales, and production teams is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years in product development, sourcing, or merchandising within home textiles, home decor, or consumer products.
• Experience developing physical products from concept through sampling and production.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction, costing, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working directly with overseas factories, vendors, and suppliers.
• Strong merchandising sense with an eye for color, pattern, quality, and retail trends.

Responsabilidades

• Manage high-volume projects from concept through production handoff.
• Develop retail assortments across colors, patterns, materials, sizes, and price points.
• Work directly with overseas factories and vendors on sampling, costing, and development.
• Negotiate pricing, evaluate materials, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review samples for quality, construction, color, materials, and overall execution.
• Maintain product specifications, tech packs, BOMs, costing sheets, and development records.
• Collaborate with design, sales, and production teams to meet retailer requirements.
• Research market trends, competitor products, and new product opportunities.
• Track development timelines, approvals, and key milestones.
