EnVogue International, founded in 2008, is seeking a Textile Designer for Rugs & Floor Coverings in New York. You will design trend-driven rug collections, create CADs, and collaborate with overseas factories to develop materials and execute designs across various constructions and price points.

The role calls for strong artwork, pattern development, and colorway skills, with a portfolio of original textile designs required for consideration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field.
5+ years of experience in textile/surface/product design.
Strong skills in artwork creation, pattern development, CADs, and colorways.
Portfolio showcasing original textile designs required.

Responsabilités

Design and develop original rug collections, patterns, and colorways.
Create CADs, repeats, artwork, mockups, and presentations for meetings.
Develop cohesive, commercially relevant collections for retailer needs.
Explore rug materials, fibers, textures, weaving, tufting, printing techniques.
Merchandise assortments across patterns, colorways, constructions, sizes, and price points.
Prepare and review artwork, tech packs, strike-offs, color approvals, and samples.
Collaborate with overseas factories on material development and design execution.
