Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and process sheets.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Red & Brown Rubber Mill, Extruder, Molding Press, and Oil Molding Press.
• Read blueprints and process sheets to manufacture a variety of tubes.
• Measure dimensions and perform quality tests per procedures.
• Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
• Regulate molding temperature, volume, pressure, and time.
• Install dies and plates on machines using clamps, bolts, and hand-tools.
• Move mold to press and prepare for operation.
• Lubricate inner surfaces of molds to prevent sticking.
