Job summary

Hultec Group is seeking a Mold Technician Operator to set up, operate, and maintain rubber press equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on experience with machine setup and a strong quality mindset.

The role requires reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational certification in plastics or rubber molding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Experience with mold/die setup from compression, injection, or stamping presses.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and monitor molding machines and rubber presses throughout the production run.
• Perform mold and die changes, adjustments, and startups on plastic injection and rubber press equipment.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters—temperature, pressure, cure time, and cycle time—to maintain part quality and efficiency.
• Inspect molded parts for defects and conformance to specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on molds and dies; document results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 5S standards.
