Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Experienced Diffusion/Implant RTP and DPN Equipment Engineer to support RTP and DPN chambers on AMAT Vantage and Centura platforms. You will help maintain state-of-the-art anneal chambers while driving improvements in quality, efficiency, defect reduction, and cost of ownership in a 24/7 high-volume fab.

The role requires a BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in semiconductor environments, familiarity with 300mm

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor experience preferred.
• 300mm Diffusion/Implant Anneal experience preferred.
• Familiarity with AMAT Centura and Vantage platforms and RF systems preferred.
• Experience with 300mm RTP and DPN equipment management desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Practice 6S in the office and fab, prioritizing safety.
• Assist technicians with daily workload and sustaining activities.
• Develop and schedule recovery plans for known abnormalities.
• Document daily tool activities and share learnings via communication systems.
• Follow and improve SOPs, recovery plans, and process flows to boost efficiency.
• Interact with multiple departments on projects to improve device performance and reduce risk.
